Vita- Means
I have been posting about creams and save for the Pomegranate supplements from Murad I have not posted about other supplements. I think at a time when it is humid and then raining cats and dogs, the best way to keep yourself pretty is to get as much Vitamin C as you can. Started taking Berocca during the H1N1 scare but I have decided to continue taking it. I feel more energetic when I take it. You see it's a multivitamin supplement. It's not just Vitamin C. It has B1, B6, B12 that should keep your brain active. It also has Calcium, something I have to really start taking at my age. :)
I am not sure if this Vitamin is making me fat but I am not making any plans of stopping. :)
It's easy to use, just drop the tablet in a glass of water and wait until the tablet dissolves. The drink is a bit fizzy (which I do no particularly like because I do not drink carbonated drinks) but you will get used to it.

Let's Help
They always say beauty is just skin deep. I think we can stop worrying about creams today and help out. :)

I Dream of Jean-ie
I know I normally just blog about beauty products but I thought today I will make an exception. I just fell in love last night... with jeans!
It has been a while since I have found jeans that I love. I liked Lulu Castanette for a while but the brand died a natural death and now I do not see them anywhere. Since then, I have not found the pair of Jeans that I can really love. I tried Grab but the fit is not too great.
Last night, I tried on a pair of Gap and the fit was great and it felt great on my skin too! Also, they have varying lengths! Yay!!! I do not have to force myself into jeans that are a mile longer than my legs!
Lovett! Lovett! Lovett!!!

Twisted!!!
Everyday, I find my hands smelling like Christmas, thanks to the Bath and Body Works Deep Cleansing Handwash that I got from Market,Market called Twisted Peppermint. I love the feeling of being able to smell Christmas in it. I bought it because of the H1N1 scare and my hands were becoming really dry.
Try it for yourself. Who says you have to wait for Christmas to smell Christmas?!
Speaking of, I cannot wait for this Christmas! :)

De-Lux
Lux has not made an appearance here in the Phililppines for a loong time but not in other countries.
Some years ago, I have purchased Lux with Collagen in Thailand. I do not think this is available here in the Philippines but I still have some boxes in storage so I decided to use one of the bars. I love the smell and the shape as it is shaped differently for massage purposes. I do not know if collagen had to do with my arms slimming down or if it had anything to do with me having dinner earlier now and being able to run more regularly... Anyway, using this soap made my skin really dry. As such, I have decided not to use the soaps anymore. Such a waste, I lugged them all the way to Pinas from Thailand before. Oh well... I am not sure if this soap will have the same effect on you as one of my colleagues loves this soap so much, she asked me to buy so many of them while we were in Thailand. :) As for me, I'm de-luxing. :)
I do not really experiment much with soap because I really like Dove. Sometimes though, my curiosity gets the best of me and I try new things that only end up disappointing me. :) More on soaps later on... Forgot to write about soaps when in fact I have tried so many. Most of them from Lush. I mean if you're going to experiment why not go for products that are organic and au natural. I also have tried soaps from Ilog Maria. More on that next time.
This is it for now. Gosh, I love blogging on Mac *haha*. I just really had to say that no? It's just so different. I have to go back to my experiments though... my Vaio is dying. Experiment has been running on it overnight and it is still not done. I better get this Mac to do some too.
Ciao!

Wart-cha-macall-it
I have been very busy the past few days cramming in between my PhD and other things. I know... excuses again right? I was even supposed to go to France but I had to pass up because processing all the requirements was just too stressful already. In between all the work I was able to finally rid myself of fugly stuff on my body. As embarrassing as it may be... warts. I have been very embarrassed to actually get some help but I have noticed that it has been getting worse so last week I went to Bioessence and had them removed.
The first step was getting diagnosis. The doctor checks your face, neck, chest and back for warts and then she refers you to a technician who will then apply topical anesthesia to the affected areas. You then wait for the topic ointment to work (my wait was about an hour or so). After the long wait, the technician will return with a device that will burn the wart. During this process, it will not hurt if the anesthesia was properly applied. Do not expect that this will be the case on all warts because it's not, definitely there will be cases where you will pain a tolerable amount of pain (at least in my case). After all warts have been burned, you would look a bit like a chicken pox victim. They will then give you post wart ointment that you will apply twice a day and an anti-wart soap that you have to leave on for two minutes. After three to four days, the scabs (that look like black moles) will fall off. In my case some are still on me and it has been six days but am not panicking... yet.
It was a bit costly but after all this time, I am only happy I do not have to worry about them anymore. They accept cards at Bioessence so this makes paying them convenient. The staff was very professional and I did not feel embarrassed at all.
I hope this will help those who are worried about these warts. You do not have to feel embarrassed at all nor should you suffer from humiliation as well because you can get rid of them and it does not even hurt that much. :)
I normally blog using my beloved Vaio but tonight, I am happy to say that I am using my brand new MacBook Pro that I got for a project I am doing! :) *woot*
